About Lana

I create the idea, build the world around it.

My background combines fashion, marketing and creative production, which has shaped the way I approach imagery: not as a collection of beautiful photographs, but as a complete visual language with an idea, identity and purpose behind it.

I develop projects from concept to final visual, taking an active role throughout the entire creative process. This can begin with a single idea, character or unexpected visual reference and evolve into a complete world through creative direction, styling, casting, locations, set design, props, production and post-production.

Fashion is an essential part of my work, but never exists in isolation. Clothing, character, environment, colour, objects, composition and narrative are all treated as elements of the same story.

Cinematic,
surreal,
slightly
absurd.

My experience in marketing also influences the way I think creatively. I understand imagery not only from an aesthetic perspective, but as a communication tool. Whether I'm working on an independent editorial, personal project, artist image or brand concept, I think about what makes the visual recognisable, memorable and capable of building a distinctive identity.

I'm particularly drawn to fashion imagery with a cinematic, surreal and slightly absurd edge: sophisticated without becoming predictable, conceptual without losing emotion, and visually strong enough to exist beyond a single trend or platform.

AI is not the concept.

It is one of the tools that makes the concept possible.

AI has become another layer of this process rather than a replacement for traditional production. I combine real photography and physical production with AI-assisted visual development and advanced post-production, using technology to extend what can happen inside an image.

Photographed
Real photography and physical production. What actually happens on set.
Constructed
Sets reconstructed or expanded, objects introduced or transformed, compositions refined.
Imagined
A photographed location becomes an entirely different environment. Ideas go beyond the practical limits of the shoot.

Free movement between what is photographed, what is constructed and what is imagined.

The process

(idea to final visual)
Concept Development → Creative Direction → Art Direction → Fashion Styling → Casting → Set & Prop Direction → Production → Photography Direction → AI Visual Development → Post-Production → Final Visual

Rather than fitting into one traditional creative role, I work across disciplines, connecting strategy, fashion, production and new visual technologies.

Got an idea?
Let's build
the world.
